Back Story I met this 7.5/10 earlier on in the week nice Californian glow walked up to her and opened. Let's called her Jennifer. So Jennifer works at the information center at my school. I walk up to Jennifer and find out some basic stuff about her eg. Name, origins, etc. added some subtle negging about her being bad at her job, found out if was her first day. conversation keeps flowing but i decide to leave as she is working and i have a game of pool to go finish. I did not Number Close Anyway fast forward to yesterday and lo and behold Jennifer is working again one of my friends points her out and i go over and talk to one of my friends who is a girl right in front of her i know she sees me but she acts like she didn't convo goes like this Me: Why didn't you say hi, didn't you see me?

Jen: Yeah i just thought you were busy talking that's why

Me: anyway I see you're working again, Messing up some people's ID's huh?

Jen: No actually i am not doing the Id's someone else is

Me: What time do you get off?

Jen: 3

Me: Okay good you're taking me out to eat.

Jen: (taken aback) Uh........no, i don't know you, you could be a serial killer i am from LA

Me: yep you're right i could be a serial killer or a murderer so 3?

Her: uhm.....I don't eat with strangers.

Me: That's what having a conversation is for getting to know people.

Then she brings up some story about her having been on dates with her brothers and I laugh and say that's is really sad if that's the dates she has. again negging. So i tell her I'll be waiting in the pool room and if she doesn't show she'll have missed an amazing lunch and amazing conversation. I leave to go do something else for a bit. Then i come back to the pool hall around 2:40 play pool till 3:30. The information center is right in front of the pool hall. And out of my peripheral i leave her get off work and leave. I do not look at her or pay her any attention. I am pretty sure she saw me. So Where exactly did i go wrong. Was i too forward in asking her to go eat?. It was only lunch for goodness sakes. TL;DR: cute cali girl stands me up for lunch after i talked to her.
