Hello everyone. I don't mean to be combative in any way, but I am truly curious how an entire group of people came to the single conclusion that all women want the same thing.
After browsing the red pill for a while I realized the common consensus was- Women don't actually want to hear about your feelings. They only care about attention/validation. Dominate them and watch them flock to you.
This really makes me want to ask "Where are you finding these harpies?"
My boyfriend (of four years) is what I would consider to be a typical alpha. He's incredibly strong, confident, has a strong gaze that leaves my legs weak, and he's intelligent to boot. We have sex like animals, and we have sex at least five days a week. We can hardly keep our hands off of one another.
We do have a skewed power dynamic in the bedroom. However, outside of the bedroom we consider each other equals. We both discuss our feelings even though it is harder to get him to open up for obvious reasons. He has opened up about how his father's disinterest hurt him in the past. Oddly enough he claims to not have any resulting hurt that he feels current day. He says it just isn't important to him. So I do admit the discussion of our past pain is a bit skewed.
But, as far as discussion of feelings towards each other we are both very open and affectionate. He tells me he loves me frequently and I do the same. We spend time with one another, laughing at our favorite comics, watching documentaries, and playing videogames with occasional "consequences" for losing for extra fun.
We are affectionate, but still recognize that it comes from a place of mutual respect. We split the bill at restaurants unless it is a special occasion in which I'm treating him or he is treating me.
I recognize he does have some aspects of red pill in his personality. He is calm, logical, self-sufficient, confident, and loves learning new skills/ bettering himself. (He actually built me an end table for my birthday -swoons-) But he also has a lot of traits that would be considered beta-esque by this subreddit - Honesty about feelings, planning a future together, compliments me, never engages in negging, ect.
The point I'm trying to make is that I see his weaknesses, I hear his compliments, I know without a doubt he loves me completely, and I'm still here. I still love him passionately and can't imagine a world without him in it.
According to the redpill this isn't possible. I just worry about the overgeneralization and wonder if the issue could be the type of women some of you have come across.
I get that good women are rare, good men are rare. That's because the overwhelming majority of people are shit.
I just wanted to ask a bit about it. It seems like any girl who responds to negging wouldn't be worth much time in the first place. In order for that to work successfully there would have to be a sizable amount of insecurity to manipulate. Insecurity that would make for a bad relationship, sexual or otherwise. I have had many men attempt to coyly insult me in the past, and I don't put up with it. I used to be a sucker for those types when I was younger, and have since learned that such men are not worth my time. Engaging with those types only proves to them you're weak and self loathing. Sadly most women use these types to reinforce the negative perceptions they have about themselves. And so I refuse to be around those who desperately search for kinks in my armor. I don't want a manipulative prick as my SO. I want a partner, an equal worthy of my respect.
Anyway, just some thoughts. I'd be interested to see what some of you had to say. No unhelpful dialogue please. I'm not here to engage in some feminist/redpill flame war. I'm just here to engage this issue from multiple points of view.
