I feel like I need an enlightenment or some bad thing to happen to me so that I stop being mediocre.

I set up goals daily, but end up half-assing or skipping them. I try to avoid porn but eventually go back to it. Even fucking 10 minutes of meditation feels impossible to me.

To be fair, I'm not that fucked up but I'm not crushing it either: I don't play video games, smoke, binge watch and so on... I do lift five times a week. But overall I'm not heading into becoming what I want to be. I'm not pushing myself enough which is making me mediocre.

I've tried waking up super early, doing cold shower and all that discipline shit giving me the illusion that I was super disciplined and serious but usually I end up half-assing the rest of the day.

Like why the fuck do I still do the same mistakes even if I know I shouldn't. Why do I avoid doing what I should be doing even if I know it's what I have to do...

Few months ago I posted here on how to quit porn, got an overwhelming amount of answers, and here I am today still filling my history with porn links. Sorry TRP, can't help it.

Do I really need to get erectile dysfunction so that I quit porn addiction or what? Do I need to become homeless so that I value hard work again? Do I need to hit the bottom of the barrel so that I get that huge drive for success?
