Last night at a (small) house party, a girl and her friend were together; I isolated one of them and the friend came outside asking if she was okay. I’ve seen these girls before on campus and interacted with them once, and they’ve also seen me a socializing with many people so it’s obvious I’m not a creep

Why do they do this? Is it anything more than the friend checking up on the girl to make sure she isn’t getting raped or some shit?

In a situation like this, would winning the friend over be the “solution” to this?

Also, at this house party, I feel like some girls were cockblocking other girls when some guys tried to isolate them, despite the girls being interested. Is this jealousy in the sense that these girls aren’t going to have sex so they don’t want anyone else having sex? The main girl that comes to mind is the girl who’s house it was; she kept looking for these two whenever they went “missing”

At one point during the party, they also all came at me calling me an “asshole”. They spoke their truths as they were drunk. One girl said “you called me privileged and that’s fucked up. You don’t know what I’ve been through.”, and two other girls who I called “uncool” told me something along the lines of me being mean or some shit and if I need help, I should speak to someone— saying I’m a cool guy, so I don’t have to be “mean”.

I just smirked, said I’m fine and told them to stop projecting, and also told the other girl that at least I smell good (assholes stink). Why did they come down on me like this? Is it because since one girl started, the other two got the courage to speak their truths? Heard mentality in action here?

Any tips on how to better past such “confrontations/shit test”? I believe I did decent simply because I didn’t loose frame

Also, when I got one of the two girls numbers who I called uncool, she saved her name as “(Name) Super Cool Girl I Know THE FUCKING COOLEST”— why do they care so much I called them uncool? I said it with a smirk in a joking manner and I weren’t malicious towards them.
