Everytime I confront my girlfriend about something I suspect, usually I'm wrong about 90 percent of the time. For example when I see her checking out other guys and confront her about it, she completely denies it. She says I'm paranoid. I'm 100 percent sure about my accusation before I confront her but at the end of it I'm usually feeling delusional and defeated.

I always thought to myself that maybe Im just insecure and jealous. That I needed to keep myself in check when it comes to these things but I know deep in my gut that there is something wrong.

So far all I've sensed that she has been lying on are not that serious. I don't think she's ever cheated on me. It's mostly petty things like her checking out other guys, her telling her sisters and friends about me, saying she didn't say (blank) when she obviously did. It might be petty little lies, but It's starting to take a toll on me and I'm starting to question my own sanity and judgement

I'm gonna admit I'm a little bit insecure, but when I sense that she is lying about something my insecurity goes through the roof. I'm actually somewhat okay with her checking out other guys as long as it's controlled. I mean I check out girls out girls all the time but when she hides the truth to save herself, my suspiciousness goes on overdrive.

She's not the best liar either, I pick up on her body language and little pauses when i think she's trying cover up something which give me more evidence that's she's lying. But as always I end up losing the argument, submitting to her rebuttals.

The thing that really bothers me and makes me doubt myself is that she sometimes swears to her mom about telling the truth. Her mom passed away a few years ago and she loves her mom very much, she meant the world to her. I don't think she will put her on the line just to save herself, but I could be wrong.

My questions are:

1.How far do women go to save themselves? 2. Have you had an experience with women like this? 3. Am I being gaslighted?
