I am doing approximately the following 3-4 times a week 4 sets, 8-12 reps, 1.5 minutes rest between sets Squats, OH press, pushup variants, pullup variants

In that order. I can only do pushups and pullups due to joint damage issues (don't worry, my doctor gave me the thumbs up to lift). I will soon be switching to weight chinups and weighted dips within the next week or two as i exceed 12 reps

Anyways, I had some questions:

1) why am I not sore? Should I try pushing for more reps? Or lower the weight and maybe go lighter to get more contraction? I am new to the gym (2 weeks) and I literally never feel sore whatsoever at all. I push till the last rep. I eat a clean diet, tons of veggies, green tea, salmon, eggs, some steak, sweet potatoes, some beans, quinoa etc. A paleo/Mediterranean mix. Apple cider vinegar, and 8 hours of sleep. In addition I do yoga on my off days. I started with just the bar and barely being able to doing that for reps 2 weeks ago and today I did 95lbs on squat. Blame it on the yoga?

2) would it be smart to bump it up to 5 days a week? I think for me (newbie) it would be unwise

3) I am a classic ectomorph. I eat enough protein no doubt. But should I bother counting calories? I have gained 0 size at all, I have gained some measurable strength (in all exercises). Is this normal (strength gains but no size)?
