Man do it in person. Do it in front of everyone. Chicks love confidence and charisma. Don't pussy out. The only reason you should get a number online is if you met on tinder or you used to know her and never see her in real life anymore.

Facebook is fine to facilitate that first talk. Shoot her a message saying it's cool that you have some shared classes. Say you'd love to talk more but haven't been able to catch her in the confusion and invite her to hang out after class.
