I wouldn't care, that's my personality to a fault it seems, as I've had people get pissed at how nonchalant I typically am about everything. She wants to have guys sleep over, cool, she just demoted herself to a fuck buddy, I literally couldn't care less. No reason to get all upset.

If a girl leaves you and goes to be on the other side of the country, the relationship is already over, it was over when she decided that x is more important to her than being with you.

Yeah, sure, she sounds like a cunt be he sounds like a bitch. Look at the examples given, the girl is going to music festivals and living her life while he's trying to police and regulate who she can and can't talk to from the other side of the planet.

If I were me, I wouldn't give a fuck. If however I had the misfortune of being that guy, I would dump her because clearly there's much to be done, Improvement wise for myself.

The guy does sound very very beta. Talking about breaches in trust over long distance is pussified. Being in a long distance relationship at all is questionable imho, that should've opened the gates to some side pussy, but clearly this guy LOVES his girl too much for that, 12 years be damned.
