So I posted a few days ago about matching with this girl from high school... Long story short: we had crushes on each other, but I never closed because I was extremely beta and an idiot back then. The rest of our encounters in high school were awkward silences and not talking.

So tell me TRP, what did I do wrong here?

She matches with me. She writes to me first. I go straight for the date, as not to waste time (even though I have her phone number.. but we haven't talked/texted for years, so I wasn't gonna use that).

Monday evening

Her: Hey :)

Me: Hey :) How's it going?

Her: Good and you? Just got myself on Tinder on Saturday haha :)

Me: Yea everything's good :)
Well look, we've already matched! It's destiny... haha

Then she doesn't answer anymore, although we had been replying within minutes to each other. I think to myself "shit.. that wasn't so witty after all." But I guessed that she'll eventually answer, since she's gotta be interested, right?

The next day at about 6 PM I decide to grow some balls, cut the smileys and go for it: "We should catch up, how about Thursday in front of Joey's... say 8 PM?"

No answer.

I see her active on Tinder the whole time.. updating this and that.. But no answer. Tomorrow's Thursday and since she hasn't replied it's probably not going down (and I doubt that she'll reply at all in a few days). However, if she does I will take a day or two to answer her as well - but that's just wishful thinking. She's probably got more interesting guys lined up for her. Stupid bitch. Anyway, time to next her.

It really sucks that it didn't work cus she's a solid HB8.. I would've gladly got into an LTR with her, but this crap is too awkward.

So tell me, Alphas of TRP.. This situation is obviously unsalvageable, correct? So what could I improve on or have done differently? Thanks.
