I guess this isn't a big challenge for most people on this subreddit, but I'm going to try it anyways.

Why?

Partly inspired by the 100 set challenge, I'm hoping to approach 10 women in 10 days. I'll come back and update this thread after each approach. Hopefully making this thread will actually keep me accountable.

About OP

I guess I'll share a little bit about me. I'm not shy at all, but definitely have a bit of AA. Very social, but I wouldn't call myself an extrovert. I'm new to the seddit scene and mostly focusing on inner game stuff right now. I've had some success as of late, but it's been a bit dry for about a month now.

First Update

Location: Classroom - University

Anxiousness before approach: 3

Summary: Approached a girl sitting in class, sat beside her. Mentioned the midterm next week. Later in the class mentioned that I'd be studying on the weekend, and that she should join me. She agreed, and I got her number. That wasn't my only actual approach today, but it's the only one I'm deciding to count. It's not like it's a date or anything like that, but I did open conversation with someone and manage to make arrangements to see them later on in the week. Not great, but it beats nothing.

The other approaches were ok too. One was while I was waiting to get into an exam room for a midterm. I noticed her doing some last minute cramming, and naturally decided to ask if she was ready for the test. After a bit of back and forth chatter I mentioned that I had seen her in a few classes, and it turns out that she recognizes me. I managed to get her name but didn't push for a number or anything like that, if only because I was more focused on the midterm.

About an hour ago (and a few hours after the midterm) I walked into the cafe/restaurant/bar on campus for my third coffee of the day. One of the baristas was wiping down the sugar and cream area and we made eye contact. I decided to strike up conversation by asking what coffee she recommended, and that conversation lasted about 3 or 4 minutes. I decided to bug her a little bit, and ended the conversation by introducing myself and getting her name. To be fair, she didn't really have much of a choice, I mean she is an employee, which is why I'm not counting this one. I'll definitely see her around though because I'm in that establishment all the time and tend to go to the various alcoholic social events for employees (I usually get invited by the staff).

All in all, it's been an OK day. On the downside I lost my 2nd pair of earbuds in under a month. This is getting very annoying..

Second Update

Summary: My buddy and I were sitting in the on campus cafe getting coffee and I noticed the girl in the booth behind me was in one my classes. After my buddy left I got up said hello, told her I'd recognized her from a few classes. After chatting for 5-10 minutes I had to leave, so asked for name and told her I'd add her on facebook. I thought I was pretty smooth but it turns out she has a boyfriend. Oh well, no big deal aha. It was a pretty hectic day otherwise, and was locked up in a library most of the time. Didn't really get a chance to make many approaches. Today is looking similar but hopefully I get a chance to do something.
