I'm terrible at social circle game, so I'm not going there.

The thing with pickup is, you fuck it up a lot. It's like learning to play violin, you sound like a dying cat for the first few months. Don't try to learn pickup in house parties with your social circle, you'll socialize with the grace of a dying cat. Focus on having fun, and here and there a girl will fall on your dick even if you're super weird.

As a newbie, you learn pickup by approaching absurd amounts of strangers with consistency. What happens, is that the skills you learn while picking up randoms, carries over to your interactions with girls everywhere.

You can't think of things to say because you feel like you have to say something cool to make them like you. Yeah it's a head trip. You should know this already though, go find some material which is better at explaining the basics.

You don't need "tips from the pros", you need experience. Not seduction experience, life experience. Develop a wide range of interests, talents, and hobbies. This combined with the stories you have from actually pursuing them give you a wide range of things to talk about if things ever go south.

With all that fall back material, there is no reason a conversation should get stale. Oh and if things do get stale (for instance at a party scene) eject with something like "Hey, I promised my friend <something>, I'll see you around later tonight."

I often open someone, get their name etc, talk briefly, and leave. Not at all afraid to walk away and go do something else for a bit.

Oh, and open guys too. Meeting cool guys is worth it anyway, and you never know when having someone in your corner can help.

I would even venture as far to say use high school as practice to become a social butterfly of sorts... then come post high school you'll do wonders

What about the advice contained in Magic Bullets and Models doesn't work for you, or what about it is unclear?

The purpose of including your prior knowledge and specific details of what current works / doesn't work for you is essential to being able to provide you with feedback.

If you just want to know how to charm her, then I'd say read the books you have.

If you're going to a new school that's perfect. You can be anyone who you want to be basically. It's a fresh start. Don't worry about people thinking you're weird, they don't know you yet. Forget any reputation you had at your old school.

I would recommend just going to people with a big smile and introducing yourself and saying that you're new to the school. Be sociable, be fun. Definitely make friends with the people sitting next to you in class.
