Long story short, I'm coming out of a 4 year relationship during which I've changed a LOT (for good). Gained confidence, lost weight, etc. and I'm starting to look into dating again.

That being said, I'd like to approach girls I haven't talked to in 3-4 years but with whom I was friend zoned hard back then.

What's the best way to approach these girl in order to really pop out that I'm not the same guy that was friend zoned a long time ago and that at this point I'm interested in some fun?

I'm scared that if I'm using the wrong approach with them, I'll fall back way too quickly in the zone because I'm already pre-branded like that from the past.
