Listen close kiddies, this here is wisdom being imparted. By Zeus, it's almost nearly magic.

Scene: House party or similar. Wouldn't expect it to work as well in a club. It should work just fine in ordinary situations so long as the setting flows.

Target: Try to select a lone wolf. Groups tend to put a damper on this one.

Modus Operandi: First, execute your approach prelims. Remember the three second rule - make a move three seconds after eye contact. This more or less works with or without some small talk, but then again, nearly everything works better after you've dropped some good conversation. Place your hand in your pocket and furrow your brow. Then take your hand out, palm down and fingers closed so it looks like you're holding something. As you do this, say something to the effect of "Hey, I'm just gonna pop out for a second and get some air. Would you mind holding something for me?" When she puts her hand out to take whatever it is you've got in your hand, take her hand in yours. Make sure to place your hand on top - this makes it easier to lead her. Go outside, go for a walk, then drop something heavy like the Five Question game. I've never received anything less than a K-close with this one, gentleman. Best of luck.
