Whenever I sit at a bar next to a woman, or a group of women, the woman sitting right next to me will often turn to her friends and will never look back. But I often catch her stealing a look. What is going on? Why do so many (like 99% of the people) do this? Am I doing something wrong?

This has happened a lot, which is why I am asking. If something happens often enough, it generally means there is some underlying reason. That is what I'm trying to figure out.

I would consider myself a little above seduction padawan, working my way up, so I know the principles. I know how to dress and would consider myself attractive and have had some success with gaming. So it can't just be that I'm low value. Perhaps I am intimidating these women by sitting next to them, or nearby? Please understand that I do this in a very confident way, not like a AFC running up and sitting next to the group of girls fidgeting and smiling and unconfident.
