I met a girl online on Monday and we had some good conversation. She gave me her number to setup plans for a date. I texted her about Wednesday and she said Wednesday wouldn’t work because she’s going to a concert, so we decided on Thursday night instead. I told her that I would text her on Thursday for a place to meet up. I’ve had plenty of dates without setting up definite plans and letting them know the day of or day before.
I usually setup dates in 2-3 days and I don’t really text unless they initiate. I’ve been flaked on plenty of times in the past and I’m wondering if it’s because I seem too disinterested? I know in a lot of cases they just aren’t interested plain and simple. But I’m sure there’s plenty of situations where I come off as too cold.
Do you guys think it’s a good idea to text her and say something like, “Hey, hope you have fun at the concert tonight. I’ll see you tomorrow”
