Recording the audio of my approaches is the best thing I have done to improve my game. I don't record in clubs, but just recording myself on my phone during day approaches really helped me to identify my sticking points. It is sometimes pretty cringy listening to the shit i say, but thats the point, sometimes after an approach I think I did brilliant, but after listening back to it, I can tell many mistakes I have done. The best things I picked up from listening to myself is: self qualifying statements, fucked up tonality, reactive statements and uncalibrated escalation.
