So I am several months out of college, working on finding a job (I have applications out but they are taking forever to process), I moved in back with my parents (and two younger siblings), I have no friends around me (college buddies are all over the place working or in grad school). I have no income and no car (I rely on my folks for transport and I haven't driven a car since I got my license six years ago). My town doesn't have very much by way of clubs or bars (the ones we do have are mostly older people or high school kids). I live somewhat close to NYC but it's expensive to go there so I don't go unless there is a specific reason.

I've never really dated before. There was nothing in college. But while abroad I met a NJ girl at a hostel, we hit it off and when I got back we hung out twice. The first time we went to her friends place in the city (they had a clothing optional apartment) we ended up hooking up, she gave me a hand job then we hooked up some more in the shower. The second time I stayed the night at her place but she was tired from work and a little high so we just watched a movie and then made out a little. The next morning I are her out and she gave another hand job. But she's like two hours from me and the next time I texted her to meet up she said she was dating someone.

Last night I was out with my family at a restaurant and the waitress said she liked my skrillex shirt and told me about an upcoming concert in the area. After dinner I asked if she was going to the concert and tried to exchange info. She said "well, I can't give you my number because I have a boyfriend (she said 'he isn't here'), but talk to [the owner of the restaurant] because he might go as well." I didn't even get her name and she had to get to another table. So I walked out and my parents were in the car with big smirks. It's like, not only do I fail at meeting girls, but even if I was successful I can't bring a girl home and the whole process is hilarious to my folks.

It sucks because the girl from NJ was a great match for me. She was into the kink subculture and was totally ok with my being part of the furry and brony subculture. (It isn't the first thing I mention to girls, but it is something that eventually will come up and it might put people off)

This is kind of a rant but it's been like I'm in a rut.
