"I wish you the best" is a polite way of saying "go away". Do so. If you keep at her, you'll just be annoying.

Give her some space, and after a while if you're still available and interested, offer an invite to something or other if she hasn't contacted you. If she accepts, roll with it and make no mention of her comment about "not being ready to be back in the dating game". If you're FB friends, checking up on her profile every now and again might give you an idea of when and if a good time to do this would be.

Of course, the basic rule applies: don't wait for her. This may very well be a polite way of saying "I found someone else".

Move on. The last text probably took her about 10 minutes to think up. It's just her way of saying she doesn't want to see you again. [Kind of funny she'd say that when she's on OkCupid.]

But feel free to tell us about the dates. You probably fucked up some things, so it'd be better for your sake to tell us about what happened earlier.

Wait a minute ... after two dates she:

refuses an invitation to come inside your place
cancels one date
declines another date
sends a "I'm not ready to date" text

You are officially finished. The only responses I can think of to her text are pathetically beta or passively aggressive. I guess you could go for a "Hail Mary Pass" and attempt to escalate but my advice would be to just walk away.

As a female in a similar position as her, I'd say respect her decision but leave the door open for you two when she is ready again (if you want). Don't be pushy or demanding in anyway if you want to actually hook up again in the future. If she's not ready, then it's only going to destroy any relationship anyway. Respond, let her know you respect her, and that you'll be around in the future if she wants.
