I had a crush on this girl back in senior year of HS but now (freshman year) we’re 1000 miles apart. She found out I liked her but she liked someone else so we agreed to be friends and keep in touch.

So far we keep in touch but it’s limited to SC streaks and occasionally FT with the rest of our friend group. She called me alone maybe once. Now, I don’t have oneitis but I like her, though I’m not pursuing her.

I get that I have zero chance at us being a thing but I’m trying to improve myself for me and so I have a chance with any girl, not just this girl in particular. And I am trying to find girls at college too.

I read here that a good move is not being overly in contact with a girl that rejected you but you still like, so am I at least doing something right by not going out of my way to talk?
