Was downtown with a friend for karaoke night and I solo’d a song(fire up the night by new medicine). I was set tonight to be as social as I could. At the dance floor/karaoke room I ended up hanging out near the DJ booth kinda in a corner but not really a corner (I don’t like the crowds packed like sardines). Anyway I’m standing there and a few interesting encounters happen. WARNING LONG POST

Semi Drunk Girl

Blonde girl is hanging around near my area and I go up to her introduce myself and have a bit of a conversation, went ok but she was kinda dull like when I asked what she likes to do outside the bar, like in her free time she said “you know max the photographer he’s like my best friend and we hang out a lot”. That was it… she asked what I did and I told her like pool,bowling and like one other hobby. We talked a bit more then she walked off before I could get her snap though honestly she seemed a bit boring I guess is the right word so I’m not worried I didn’t get her snap.

Guy who blew my chance

Again hanging out just outside the crowd and I’m talking to this guy when this attractive blonde comes up to us. I just started the conversation like just got her name and the dude whispers to her “I’ll give you $20 to date this guy” she then punched him in the chest pushed him and walked off. I think he said that because he asked if I was gonna get laid and I said I’d rather have a girlfriend. So yeah any chance I had there that idiot blew for me.

Hot girl that works there

On my 21st birthday one of the girls that works at the bar talked to me for a bit and it went well. She’s been pretending not to know me ever since or just avoiding me though I haven’t made a big attempt to talk to her. Anyway she went up to two guys and did the tap your shoulder oops it wasn’t me thing. After that I walked up to her and said “you can’t fool them I’ve got it on video while smiling” Got her snap so she could send me a video of me doing karaoke.

Uninterested girl

Led a conversation or attempt at a conversation with this girl by saying I liked her shirt, got her name but she was not interested just form body language so I took the hint and left her alone.

Only girl I didn’t talk to

I was talking with a guy and he told me he saw a blonde chick in a blue shirt staring at me. I asked him as she staring or just looking in this direction. She told me she was undoubtedly staring at me. I glanced over and she wasn’t looking this direction. She was with friends and I didn’t see a decent opportunity to get over there.

TLDR/Moral of stories: Get out there, a lot of women will shoot you down or be uninteresting but I can attest as a 21 ye old 5’4 nerdy guy who looks like McLovin and only got out of my shell this year IT IS NOT THAT SCARY and is a confidence boost to at least talk to people or boost your social circle
