Has anyone had experience with hitting on a girl right away and then becoming friends or at least acquaintences after? Typically, we try to avoid the friendzone and guys try to do the opposite... But I ask this because for example, I frequent the same gym and coffee shop regularly and sometimes I see girls there that I want to approach.. But I hesitate because I tell myself "What if shes taken and now I continue to see her there." I personally would be cool being friends and still saying hi and stuff (if shes down ofc) but I just want to bounce it off you guys and hear about any experiences with this.
