How do you approach women IRL in the current me too culture?

Risking getting laid out on Tik Tok/Facebook/YouTube as a pervert. Or trying to follow all the rules? Don’t approach a woman at the gym, at her work, etc?

Just seems so complicated anymore. Is it still okay to walk up to a woman you find attractive and say, “hi, my name is Jacob. I saw you from over there and just had to come say hello”?

Do you just have to deal with the consequences of the women that are going to blast you as “the creep”?
