So I'm still very new to approaching girls, but I'm realizing that I don't have issues opening up the conversation, or the approach itself, but what is tripping me up is that I'm thrown off by their personalities, like if it's what I'm not expecting, and then I notice that I quickly get stuck in my own mind, and will tell myself, "Oh she's lame/not friendly/dull/something negative". I know this is a judgmental thing and that I need to work on the art of dialoguing and just pushing through, and of course, not judge someone within 30 seconds, but I'm just curious if others have experienced this same thing.
One girl I approached was sweet, but she was really shy and seemed nerdy and it turned me off. I couldn't really jive with her and the conversation just stalled out so I got the number and bailed. I reached out and got a response super late and obviously, it fizzled from there
Today, I approached a girl and teased her about how she was wearing a black sweater and it was hot out, and she instantly said she had "just gotten back from Socal - This is nothing!" Just the way that she had expressed herself, I end up thinking, "Wow, that was a strange response ", assume she's dramatic and over-the-top and then I stall out.
How do you guys deal with this? Again, I know I need to be less judgmental and just expect different personalities, just curious how you all stay focused.
