Show up and be charming. A warm hug with a kiss on the cheek, a "You look beautiful tonight", and a hand on the small of the back to guide her. Then conversation, where you have to be on point. I use the 66/33 rule, keep her talking for 66% to your 33%. Get her to open up, ask most embarrassing stories, where she is from, where she is going, light banter as well. And tease tease tease! Get her laughing early and often.

Moreover, be big and confident in your body language. Eye contact at all times; stare deeply into them and hold them, and make sure your smile reaches your eyes. And the trick is not be "yourself", but to be the outsized, confident and cool version of yourself. If the girl admits she hates all the things you like, know that its doomed from the start but don't admit a thing.

Just relax. Dating is a skill man, and you're going to go through the fire and the flames to get good at it. And know that most of the dates you go on won't work out. I consider it that for every 100 females you meet, you'll only want to ask 10 out on a date, and of those 10 only 1 is suitable gf material. So have fun, be confident/cocky/funny, but sell yourself and know that if it doesn't work out, meh. Plenty more where that came from.

If you're a regular at a certain bar and know people there, then going there could work to your advantage. If you're not THE MAN at whatever bar or place, then I would probably avoid it for Friday/Saturday night crowds (you'll have to compete with other dudes). I think a quieter place would probably be best, so you can actually talk.

Hug her when you see her. Sometimes the girl gets occupied with her purse or whatever when she sees you, so it might not be easy to hug... so just say "Hey. Where's my hug?"

What I think works well is to create inside jokes between you two -- preferably harmless ones. If she's wearing an interesting piece of jewelry, comment on it and see where it goes. You can poke a little fun at her for it. Basically, you can over-exaggerate something and it's suddenly a funny joke. For example, with the initial hug, if she doesn't make herself available for hugging at first, you can (jokingly) say she's stingy with hugs. She's a hug miser. Thus, throughout the night, you can occasionally call her a hug miser (don't do it if she doesn't find it funny). She'll then laugh and eventually hug you. You can always point out that she hasn't hugged you in a while. If she jokingly says you're a hug miser too, you can say that you're more of a kiss giver. I don't know, I'm just making this shit up.

If she wants to sit down across from you at a restaurant or whatever, you can say something like "What? Sit on my side (next to me). This isn't an interview." This will let you kino MUCH much easier. Reaching across the table for kino sometimes sucks to do, but it's do-able. You can then pretend to interview her a little bit as a joke.

Oh, how old are you two, by the way?

Also, it helps to have two or three destinations planned for the date. Dinner one place, drinks at another place, then walking to a park afterwards... or something.

First of all, accept that you very well might fuck up. We all did at the beginning.

Make sure to bring something interesting and engaging to the table. Ask yourself "what is unique and attractive about me?" and try to bring that to the front. The girl will need a reason to take it further, especially if she's hot and has options.
