I was on my way to Sainsbury(supermarket in the UK) to buy dinner.

Then I saw a fit girl who's just finished shopping. I asked for her number but she said no. Bummer, let's carry on with my shopping. She was carrying pizzas then I thought, huh, asking what are they having for dinner at a supermarket is a good way of breaking the ice near a supermarket.

Fortunately, when I was browsing the beef aisle, a hot girl was choosing chickens in the aisle opposite to mine. I came over pretending to look at some chickens and asked what are you having for dinner tonight. She said chicken casserole, but it's her first time and she's not that good at cooking.

I said I can come over and help. She smiled and looked at me and said Yeah( am excited yeah) I asked for her number and she gave it to me. I was gonna wait for her since I think we both have something else to chat together but I was done with my shopping and looking how slow she is I decided not to.

On my way out, another attractive group of girls caught my eyes. Leaves me wondering how come lots of people my age shop here. When I was looking for the way out I saw a student accomodation right next to it I was like oh right. I heard one of them said 'have you turned on the oven?' and realised they must be flatmates.I thought to myself I probably can only pick one, however I couldn't choose since they are all very attractive.

I came up to them and asked what are you all having for dinner. One of them answered chicken roast with rosemary. Now if I ask them for insta they will give it to me but I want to make an impression that I am interested in only one girl but I wanna do it smoothly somehow. It was dark and one girl opened her phone to do sth. The reflection showed the girl next to her was wearing a Rem(a character from death note, which is an anime) shirt. God damn a hot blonde that likes anime!

Just couldnt think of any death note pick up lines at the time. I asked her is Death note your favourite anime? She laughed and said yeah what's your I said Clannad. She said she watched it as well. I asked her have you seen the sequel( note that the sequel movie name is "Clannad: After Story"). Then I said 'because I see us having an after story. That girl said wow ( in a very surprised tone) and the girls looking back at me and then the girl I'm picking up holding their laughs. Then I said let's start our story by giving me your number. Well I hand my phone to her, she fills in the contact.

On the way out of the shop, the girls said tell us more about yourself and I did(like where am from, what course u studying...) and we all ended up exchanging socials.

As a standard procedure, when they finished reading/typing their numbers. Confirm the numbers with them again, however, the trick is to say one digit wrong on purpose. So if she gave you a real number, she will correct you. If not then tough luck. They all corrected me after although from the vibes we had earlier I already knew the numbers are real.
