Hello lads!

I recently broke up with my fiancée and mother of my 4 year old daughter. It's been 11 years since I stopped playing the game and I guess it's time to get back on the horse. So I've been going out for the past two weeks, every day, and set myself the simple goal of just talking with strangers.

It's funny how easy it is to approach people. I've tried indirect and direct, I must say I prefer the latter as it feels closer to how I value honesty in general - plus, let's face it: there's no reason for anyone to react badly to a compliment!

I've soon realized I had to take notes and report my performance to myself: how did I feel the whole night? How did it go? Did I reach my goals?

It made me realize that no matter what I do, no matter the result, I'm constantly learning. I haven't laid yet but it doesn't matter: I made connections, dozen new friends, and proved myself how heavy my balls may be.

Today is special: I went to the grocery store to get some coffee beans. I figured I might as well take the time to walk around and see if there would be any potential targets. I noticed only two - others were on the phone or with their family and it might have been 'rude' of me to interrupt. Anyway, I approached both targets.

First one was a cute brunette looking the fruits and vegetables. I decided to try indirect :

"Hey, you look like someone who eats healthy and I'm thinking 'bout what I'll cook tonight. Should I do courgettes or cucumber?"

We talked a bit, when she nonchalantly answered "cucumber" I asked why and how she liked it. I work in fine dining so pretending I didn't know was fun. Then I reached for the compliment out of nowhere, complimented how she paired her dress with her hairgrip. She thanked me, I asked for her name, she answered, didn't ask for mine. This plus her body language confirmed she was not interested and I was bothering her, so I thanked her nicely and moved on.

Second one was a cute brunette too, but younger, looked more rebellious and I like that. She had hear earphones on and that was my first cold approach from her side and walking her way. Felt bizarre in the beginning, like I was sorta chasing her and I hate it. But it went damn well. Told her straight away I found her beautiful after I pretended I was meeting a friend that was having a hard time. She reacted very positively, thanked me, and I decided to continue the conversation on her energy. "Wow you have so much energy! You look like you're having an amazing day! Tell me all about it!"

It was fun: she told me she just woke up as she works at the hospital. Told her I know the feeling, then we talked 'bout her tattoo, cracked a few jokes and I don't remember how we got there but she told me she was getting her hair colored red. I found it cool and figured that would be my call to action: "you know what we should do? When you do that, we'll get coffee and you'll show me how cool you look". She asked for my instagram and we went our ways. I reminded her I was meeting my imaginary sad bro.

That's my first win out of 4 serious approaches and 14 days of practices. I flirted with a few girls at a bar but I was having more fun with the new bros. I guess I'll go for number close next time I'll see them, I'm sure we'll remember each other. Funny thing is, as I'm improving, I now notice girls looking at me in the street. Next step is cold approching every girl that looks at me. I'll let you guys now!
