It’s incredibly difficult for me to get a baristas number, but not because of any insecurities, more so because of the barista customer relationship.

Baristas have to act nice, it’s their job to. So when you have a deep conversation about your hobbies with her and she does the same to you about her hobbies and life, it’s very hard to tell the difference between if it’s just being nice or if she’s genuinely interested.

How do yall go about this? I use to ask baristas all the time with mild success, but it’s always sketchy and doesn’t feel right
