Far from a natural in seduction.

Talk about being natural ONLY AFTER you have experience. Without experience how can you be natural? You have no game, no knowledge, you don't know about DHV / DLV, push-pull, qualifying, leading and pacing, compliance ladder, hook point, routines, games... etc et.c... in this case do you think it will work if you are "natural" ?

You work 8-10 hours and then you are free. There is no excuse not to go out on the weekend. Just don't stay at home and actually go out and put yourself in the places where girls go, the mall, the park, the street, etc. Try to be social with everyone not just with girls, be social even with older men/women and in a few days you will find it perfectly normal to tell a girl "Hi, how's it going?"

Another question. If I see a girl I like walking in headphones or in a company of other girls, how do I approach her?

As a cold approach coach I recommend to say:

“_I don’t usually interrupt people that have headphones because I know that you are listening to music, but i just wanted to make an exception with you because i loved your style and i thought man if i don’t try to get to know her real quick, I’m gonna regret it later, you feel me?_”

This opener works because it shows empathy for the way she must feel at being approached randomly and interrupted.

Use the same empathy if she is with her friends “I don’t interrupt groups of girls because i know you guys didn’t come here to talk to guys, but to spend time with your friends… So i will quick because i just wanted to say bla bla bla…”

It also lets her know it will be quick think meaning she doesn’t have to worry much about getting rid of you so much. It also lets her know what’s up what your intentions are to figure out why the heck a stranger is talking to her. And lastly, the “you feel me” allows her to say sure, granting you consent to proceed this conversation or to deny it saying she is busy or not interested.

Are cold approaches good in general or not really?

When you do them well they are great, when you do them wrong they are bad.

Lastly, make sure you hit on her as you speak to her to let her know you are not just talking to be friends with her.
