Approach women when they don’t have a big pool of immediate comparison for you. That’s why dating apps are the worse. You’re immediately compared to the top matches that she’s had in a 30 mile radius.

But cold approach women at the grocery store or coffee shop? You’re being compared with the general population and the odds are that the men nearby that are dateable are average. And if you’re above average, you’re golden.

Hobby groups are very hit and miss. You spend a lot of time and money potentially for the off chance there may be one attractive girl your age. From my experience not good odds.

Online dating works tbh, even if you’re averagely attractive and have great photos. Has to be the right app tho. I get zero matches on bumble. Switched to hinge, boom 6 matches in a day.

Cold approach is the best option. I see attractive girls all the time while shopping or doing errands. It’s the least costly in terms of money and time, but also the hardest to pull off.

OLD can be good if you have a top 20% profile for your demographic. It’s the most time efficient method if it works for you.

If OLD does not work for you, cold approach is your only option. I personally don’t like cold approach as I view it as very inefficient compared to dating apps. Success rate is most likely in the single digit percentages for even experienced and good looking guys from approach to close - especially if the girls are attractive. Girls will be receptive if they find you attractive and they are available. However, most girls will not be attracted to you and may not be available, especially more attractive girls. Hence, I find OLD more efficient if you can get matches as those girls have already indicated they are likely available and interested in you.

Depends on your environment. If you live in a small town then cold approaches may not be the best strategy. I would say do a mix of everything (if your environment allows) which is cold approach, social events, clubs, online. There’s something to be learned in all areas and it will help you grow as more well rounded.

While it won't boost your confidence necessarily, the easiest (and usually overlooked) way to go imho is... a dating website. I said website, not an app. Sure, you won't find as many gen Z girls there as you will find 35+ ladies, but there are still plenty of options there and the competition is minimal in the same age bracket. I'd at least give it a try.
