Being called sweet/nice, what does it really mean?

Do they call you that in front of others (especially other girls?): not a good sign. They want to show that they are in control. Do they call you 'sweetie' when it's just the two of you?

Sounds like the friendzone.

It helps to understand what the FZ is. It's a way that girls invented to deal with guys who show romantic or sexual interest in them, they're not interested in him, but because she is forced to see him frequently she is afraid to flat out tell him "no".

So it happens usually in a social circle, classroom, or workplace. She doesn't want a guy hanging around her who acts needy, angry, sarcastic or whatever so she says "you're such a good friend" or "you are so sweet" when really she's thinking the opposite as in, "You're kinda creeping me out but I need to get this credit so I'm not gonna drop the class, so just back off ok?"

It has literally happened to every guy so don't sweat it. Learn game so you won't get crushes on chicks who don't like you ... that's how you avoid the FZ.

At the end of the day be yourself but show intent. I learned this lesson more recently that as a guy you have to show man to woman from the start.
