My philosophy of game is to be honest and speak my mind. There's a time and place for everything. If it's a casual "you look beautiful today", then don't make a big deal out of it. Go with the flow, and try to see what feels right. If it's a more intimate setting and you're about to hook up, then I don't see the problem with it. Nonetheless, just be a sociable person, and there is no problem being honest. Just don't over do it

Maybe be specific? If there is something unusual looking about them it can be flattering to point it out. Maybe they spent hours on their hair and honest compliments are welcome. If they have a tattoo that's slightly covered you can ask to see it properly. Lots of little things like this can help break the ice.

It is better to give compliments about something that is a core value that the woman built for herself. So for example, you could compliment her on her fashion sense, she created her own style.
