A lot of us don’t like to live our lives trying to deliberately be valuable to those around us in order to receive value back. It feels transactional.

But being valuable as a man is just too important. Yea for getting things, but also because of the social shell it puts around you.

Being a man that wants to interact with women is fraught with risk. When shit is thrown your way, people will start to actively weigh up if associating with you is worth the smell.

Some examples of shit:

  • Any conflict of any kind, you need to be valuable for people to take your side

  • After a bad breakup you’ll only keep your mutual friends if they value you more than her.

  • Women lie about men that reject them. Women are more innately valuable than men and virtue signallers and white knights love nothing more than an opportunity diminish other men on behalf of a woman.

If you’re valuable to others, they’ll choose to believe you. They’ll take your side. If they value her more, they’ll choose to believe her. Nothing else matters in that equation.

By story is breaking a fling off with a coworker who caught feelings, and leaving the job to travel. I gave up the value I had to others by no longer working in the industry and being absent.

The lies she told were viscous and without being valued by others I had no recourse.

Truth is not important, only what people stand to gain or lose from a given relationship is.

Be conscious of what value you have and can give to others. They are constantly weighing it against all the negatives that come with you. We all have them and we all do it.
