Models by Mark Manson. This is THE book you need to read.
And we all appreciate you doing the work to progress instead of self loathing and looking for someone to tell you any problem with women you've had in the past is not your fault. Thank you.

Yeah it's that realisation that nothing's going to change unless you do something about it. I now go gym and martial arts in my spare time. But it's good the support is out there and thanks for the recommendation mate!

Models is a good book. It feels all incompsing but it by no means is. There is a lot more than what is covered.
It is incredible and changing your mindsets. But there is a good bit of Bullshit against the rest of the comunity.
Most of his arguments will go against old school/indirect game (what you are learning about in "The Game". If recomend finishing it. Like being compleatly fake is not good.
But there are infact tequiniques that will make an interaction be fun. And can open up the other person. Which are left out of the book. also he is opposed to teasing. I Realy don't see anything wrong with it and Latin Americans do infact tease.
Id recomend reading models. Just don't let it close your mind off to rest of the stuff out there.
Also the old school model of attraction is outdated but they still have valuable peace of infromation. They have some YouTube videos about keno that are good.
Double your dating is recomended a lot. As is magic billets

Models by far the best option out there, though I've read "No more Mr. Nice guy" by Robert Glover and this is what I can say about it:
Being a nice guy is actually a huge problem with guys nowadays. The book has a lot of examples, will show a lot of insight of why your past relationships might have ended and is generally better if you're currently in a relationship, but is also really useful for self-improvement in game.
Start with Models though.

Models will work if you have internalized the game, approached many women and found a chance to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of different teachings that work with women. Logic has no place in the art of attraction. Completely opposing theories will work in the field. Counter intuitive things (like using a mouse upside down) that don't make sense ; will work. If you use the direct and honest approach to things as Mark (who binged on party girls for years) as a beginner on a party girl ; you will get shot down hard because you will lack the qualities that getting laid often contributes to a man. The qualities I talk about are; confidence , security , non-neediness, non-leaning personality and body language, options, self respect, knowing how to lead, moxy, unpredictability... One book or a thousand can't give tit these qualities. You have to approach and accept maybe thousands of women into your life first before being able to make Models work consistently. If someone disagrees I am open to hear why they disagree with clear explanation. (And not some loser talk like "boo you re beta I eat da pussy I am alpha")
I suggest these in this reading order:
1- all about women (Giuseppe Notte) 2- double your dating (David DeAngelo) 3- Attraction Isn't A Choice (David DeAngelo) 4- Mystery Method 5- Magic Bullets (Nick Savoy) 6- Pandora's Box System (Vin DiCarlo) 7- Attraction Code (Vin DiCarlo) 8- Models ( Mark Manson)
Roughly 500 approaches after each piece of literature.

Go outside pickup books to and look into other things like motivation, self belief, best way to learn, ect. Some suggestions are phycho-cybernetics, mastery, the female brain, the willpower instinct, inner game of tennis.

What Every BODY is Saying - Joe Navarro might be a good book; I read the first 10 pages so far. He was an ex-FBI agent whose job was to observe peoples' behaviour.
