She was actually quite involved in the conversation, its just that you were abnormally involved in it.

Yes, how you were acting was outside the behavior of someone with a decent social and dating life.

If I judge you solely based on how you're messaging her I would say that you match with girls very few and far between.

If you had an average regularity of matches and dates and lets say you had sex at least once a month, you'd only be as expressive as her, maybe even less.

Because something that people with decent dating lives know is that you can't put all your eggs in one basket and you can't commit to one person you don't even know that well yet.

Who in the blue hell is this woman to you?? Who the fuck is she??

I know Bumble is very strict about catfishing but even if she does look like her pictures you know nothing about her background.

You don't know if she works with a gang who will mug you and steal all your shit once she gets to your place.

You don't know if she's a psycho.

You don't know if she has weird or annoying habits that you can't stand.

You don't know any of those things!

So why in the hell do you feel so comfortable with her that you open up with nothing held back??

Desperation is a very dangerous state to be in.

When we are desperate we make ourselves vulnerable and it goes without saying that we make ourselves repulsive.

So lets fix your lack of nookie so that you'll no longer be desperate.

You need to understand that on Bumble girls hit on you!

So you don't want to derail that by taking the reigns from them and trying to hit on them!

What you're doing is being expressive in the hopes that she will reciprocate.

What you should be doing instead is shutting the fuck up and encouraging her to continue hitting on you.

And with this girl specifically, she is still willing to hit on you.

If you haven't sent that last message that you were typing you should replace it with: "That's interesting. Tell me more about that."

And I guarantee that is gonna open her up way more than you sharing another piece of your life to her.

You never have to volunteer information or be very explicit about the information you do give her especially when the girl is the one who is initiating the courtship.

If you just sat back and kept the focus on her then you wouldn't be complaining about how "bad" she is at keeping the conversation.

What I would have said to her first question was:

"Good question. Mainly ink illustrations. Do you make art?"

And she would still say:

"I mainly do film and writing but I dabble in pretty much every type of art."

But I would have instead said:

"I like that. What style are you really into right now outside of film and writing?"

And let it go on and on, never revealing anything about yourself until she makes an effort to get that information out of you.

By the way, "What got you into it?" is pretty big question to ask someone you just met and a "substantial" answer to that question is something that is too big to give someone you just met in the first few exchanges of messaging if you're someone who has a fairly decent dating life.

So there is nothing wrong with her and her last response in your screenshot, theres nothing wrong with you either, there is something wrong with your expectations though.

What are you expecting? That on the other end of the line she is bored with nothing to do?

That she doesn't have parties to go to, friends to hang out with, and other guys who she could potentially hook up with?

Trust me, if you had that you would also naturally be more short-winded.
