I know someone who is very alpha and gets many girls. He's a bossy person. He says to women, "we're going to the restaurant" rather than asking "do you want to go to the restaurant?" This guy can't help it. It's instinctive for him. He often tells them very explicitly, "get over here and kiss me and tell me how much you love me." It works. Girls even seem to like it. That sense of being controlled frees them to do what they'd otherwise want to it. But I find it disgusting. My blood boils and I feel rage at this person when I see it. Am I wrong too? Since girls seem to like it? Bossiness just seems wrong. If I'm being honest, there's probably a little resentment toward the girl that she responds to what I regard as meanness. Am I a classic quote-unquote "nice guy" (in name only) too scared to do what everyone wants? By the way, this guy bosses me around too. He's big and threatening. It drives me crazy, so that might influence my perception.
