This is the method I use. It really is that easy. Find a close friend (or sister, or cousin, they should care about your evolutionary fitness and you can just tell them how it is), and get them to let you practice.

What you encountered is called Last Minute Resistance (google it).

What happened has nothing to do with bras; learning how to fluently take off 10 different types of underwear will not help you next time, however fun that might be.

No idea what kind of bra you're talking about, but remember you don't need to take off her bra to have sex with her. As long as you can slip your hands beneath it, start by stroking her back, then her breasts, and then move to her ass. Standard kino escalation ladder.
