This post makes no sense.

You can't k-close online. You have to physically be in person with someone to actually kiss them.

And you don't "approach" online either. You just send them a message.

I guess because you are actually going out and doing things it's fine and yes talking to a girl naturally is possible via POF too, the nerves will be lessened but you will have to work on ways to keep the conversation flowing.

The one "positive" (although really a negative) is that you have time to consider what you are going to reply with, which in turn means less pressure for you to come up with something quickfire if you are not that way inclined.

One thing I would say however is to anyone reading this who is new and is building up confidence but hasn't been out at all; do not depend on online dating sites to practice talking to women, it can help slightly but if you build yourself up to being a smooth talker because you caught a few hot womens attention and make claims you cannot yet fulfill you are going to make a huge fool of yourself. Also a girl in a club/bar/event is real (unless you're suffering from mental illness) and looks exactly as you see her unlike online dating sites.

Ideas such as cocky-funny and aspects of value (giving, demonstrating) are almost a necessity on POF.

From my (fairly large) experience with POF, i'd think of it as a far harder venue for meeting people than real life. It can be stunningly cutthroat, so whatever tools you need in real life, you'll need to be far better at them on POF than out in the real world. So i hope you're not thinking of it as easier than bars, because it ain't (in my opinion).

And as /u/yokhai says, obviously approaching and kclosing doesn't make sense online. Even #closing doesn't make sense when you're already in contact with them. Most girls will give their number fairly quickly if you're cool enough though.

Also, why are you asking? Just do it. You learn very very quickly online whether you're doing well or not.
