Can someone explain "Not Caring"?

There's a difference between being unreactive and being socially inept. There's different types of social ineptitude. Some socially inept people are that way because they don't recognize social cues and aren't aware of social norms. So these people do things that are not typically socially acceptable, and they don't realize that they're making people uncomfortable. What you want to strive for is to become socially adept. This means, you understand social norms and social cues. Now here's the trick; you don't have to obey social norms, you just have to know when you're breaking norms and calibrate appropriately. Approaching strangers is breaking a social norm, but if you can show that you're a high value attractive male, it's okay. Now it's viewed as not giving a fuck instead of being weird. You pick and choose the instances in which you push boundaries. Weirdos do it on accident.

Most men, or sedditors think Not giving a fuck and not caring applies to everything. However, the rule is actually only Not caring about negativity. Examples are

Doing ballet as a man and not caring if others think you're nit masculine
Not caring if a woman stands you up, because it doesn't affect you
Not caring if someone insults you, even though you are right

Wrong examples of not caring, when you actually did something wrong

Not caring if a woman calls you out for being an asshole, because you told her she's dumb, because she flaked on you
Not caring when your friend, tells you that he is disappointed by you, because you said you would help him out
Not caring about your brother, when he needs your help, just because he said you should start looking for a job

Not giving a fuck teaches you to not care about negativity, so that you can give huge fucks about things that are important

your friends
education
being an good person
caring about other people who are good people
caring about people who need help
caring about helping the weak
caring about your health
