Is "The Game" a good pick up book?

The Game probably shouldn't be read to learn pick up, but more to learn about pick up. It's history and some good stories with a few techniques and advice thrown in.

It's a good story about an AFC to successful pua. Though I wonder how much of it is embellished or simply made up to make a better story.

It's old PUA shit. I'm sure there's some value in it but not really considered a must-read.

It isn't about tactics, etc, it's basically a novel about Strauss and his history with Mystery, pickup, etc

It's a fun read - it will teach you (or attempt to teach you) some key components about the game and how it started, but a lot of it is very out-dated now.

It's very fun to read, but I would not say it has much value in terms of instruction how to pick up girls. It tells more about the background of this whole movement, talks about the beginnings of people like Tyler Durden and is pretty full of drama. If I remember correctly, Strauss said he added a little bit of drama to be he story, so not everything happened the exact same way he wrote.

I read it. Entertaining read but it is obviously embellished And the guy is a BS artist by trade. It won't actually teach you anything you can use. Waste of time in my experience.

Mystery method is the Apple, Microsoft, Coca-Cola etc etc of pickup industry, it's the must be read book if you wanted to get into pickup for real not just to get a random girlfriend
