Hey seddit. I have unique problem in dating because I can't drive. I have sever vision loss in my right eye and when I went in to get my license renewed I failed the vision test. I am seeing an ophthalmologist for it, but he isn't quite sure what's wrong, but the possibilities come down to my vision not returning for months if ever.

Is it acceptable to use a taxi and/or ask my date to meet me somewhere?

When the topic comes up is there a good strategy to compensate for this biological demonstration of lower value?

I should add that no longer do I have a valid license, but from a personal standpoint my vision is bad enough that I shouldn't be driving anyway.
