I have heard that you change a woman with emotion not logic. Then the other day something happened that made this click. Honestly it isn't just women but since women are mostly emotion it seems more logical for us to point it out.

So I was talking to my guy friend that I have known for a large portion of my life. He was going through some rough things. His brother going to military again, his sister getting married, oh and that same brother is getting married as well before deployment. He just wasn't feeling that good.

Logic and platitudes were not going to be helpful here. I deployed humor. I cut him off and started talking about funny shit. He was like hey man... wtf. I kept going. He started laughing. Then a few minutes later he said, "Thanks man, that really helped. You're a great friend".

So I was thinking... everyone is driven by emotion at the core. Yes men use more logic most of the time than their gorgeous female counterparts. The same applies however. Emotion is king. Change it and you change their mind.

Let us all be happy and be strong enough to move those around us to be happier.
