Cheesy is more corny pick up lines or the unoriginal things people say.

Smooth is more personal responses during a conversation that come off effortlessly but are also flirty.

I guess that’s how I’d describe it

Cheesy - telling a girl a joke or doing something a comedian would.

Smooth - being able to unhook a woman bra with one hand over her shirt in one second or less almost without fail.
