Recently my long time friends(who are girls) said they like the beard i've been rocking recently(im usually clean shaven when I see my friends) I know girls tend to like facial hair however I feel like they only complimented me because it was a new look so maybe thats what they were attracted to it(and the fact that they like facial hair). More emphasis on me just looking different made the biggest impact I feel like.

However I feel like if a girl were to see me for the first time and saw a side by side(clean shaven vs beard) they'd pick clean shaven. When im clean shaven my jawline is more defined, i look more friendly/approachable. my face looks less chubby(i have kinda chubby cheeks even though im fit).

am i being crazy or do you think theres some truth to this?
