I kind of see the girl perspective from the following experience. In Thailand as a pale guy, I matched with basically 50+ girls per day, like I just swiped a few hot ones, matched them all then had to stop so I wasn't overwhelmed with choices.. All of a sudden I'm not thinking 'hmm, I guess I'd fuck her just because I haven't had sex for 6 months even though she's way below my standards', I'm thinking 'I have a choice between all these 8's so I won't swipe right on any fatties and I'll delete any with bad attitudes'. Back home, yeah, every girl has the white guy genetic lottery available to them so can act however they want, and all they have to go off when judging your worthiness on tinder is obviously photos so you have to either be very good looking or show social circle / personality in your photos, both things are nearly impossible to fake if you don't have them. Real life game subverts these filters if you have half a personality and get yourself out there.

I struggle with having good pics, because I don't have a lot of friends - doesn't mean I am so reviled that no one wants to hang out as such, but I am just an introvert who can hang out by myself all day without freaking out. It's actually against my nature to do many group things, but sadly it's seeming like I have to force myself to do group stuff for the sake of it (surely the often touted salsa girls see me coming a mile away if I do that?), or do daygame which also seems quite forced and awkward a lot of the time.

The problem with taking preliminary results like this too far is that they are very limited in scope.

Tinder doesn't represent all girls. It just represents all the girls on Tinder in whatever area they took samples from.

This is also consistent with evolutionary psychology's theory of mating strategies.

Evolutionary psychology has too many flaws to be considered worth placing any sort of foundation on.

We only really have decent data dating back a few decades in psychology.

Not to mention, the whole damn field is suffering from the Replication Crisis so resting any PUA theory on psychology, let alone a far less developed and established field like evolutionary psychology, is problematic at best.

Resources and social status are the most important factors for women in both short and long term mating.

Only among some women who value these things.

Not all women value these things as the primary factor for choosing their significant other or who they sleep with.

This sort of post is why newbs come back in a few months talking about how they can't get girls and shouldn't bother because they aren't rich, etc.

Again, this assumes that all people appraise "high status" in the same way, which would mean we all have the same values.

But we don't.

We have only to look at a hippy and a businessman to see that people value different things.

And different social circles, decide that different things are "high status."

Go on a meditation retreat, and money means shit, while mindfulness means everything.

Go to a club and self-awareness is a liability in many cases, while money means way more.
