I was close to reaching a pivotal milestone in the GLL AA program I'm doing so I went on vacation with the goal of hitting on girls. I visited LA for a week. I squandered it.

3 days in Santa Monica and 2 in Hollywood. In Santa Monica I saw many of the most beautiful women I had ever seen, better than NYC. Had a couple of women show interest in me. But the hot, sunny weather (and AA, and inexperience) depressed me too much—I could never live here. Even if I had low AA I wouldn't be able to get into the mood to hit on girls, at least in the summer months.

Can anyone recommend some cloudy or overcast cities in North America that have a lot of foot traffic? So far I can only think of Portland, very expensive for me, and Columbus, which seems a bit small town.
