So last weekend I was staying with a female friend from university with whom I have no interest in beyond friends although she has had interest in me before. Weve spoke about this though and have been good friends for a couple years now, nothing weird.
However, after braving it and talking to a couple of girls at the bar she came over to the conversations and either acted in such a way that it seemed we were more than friends despite me introducing her as a mate, or was overbearing and offputting. Im not exaggerating whe I say I saw lights go out and them tense up about 30 seconds after she joined...
I went back and attempted to speak to these girls later on in the night but even though they smiled and were friendly they were nowhere near as interested or engaging as the first time.
Tldr: female friend cockblocking acting like girlfriend or being offputting to other girls in conversations.
Other than how she acts when Im talking to others I like going out with this girl.
What would you recommend for attempting to reignite anything that was there present in an earlier conversation? Is there anything you suggest I could do to prevent it happening again?
