Was walking out of Costco and saw a stunning women also waking out behind me, heading the same direction.

I looked for a ring and when I didn’t see one, I walked up to her as she was leaving the store and said “excuse me, I saw you from across the store and you are absolutely stunning, and I just wanted to say hi.” She paused for a second and her face lit up and she blushed “oh my gosh, you made me day thank you!.” So I skipped over any small talk (I’m bad at that anyways) and just said “are you free this weekend?” And she said “actually know I have xyz w my kids.” I knew this was a nice way to say “not interested” but I figured there was no harm in pressing, so I said “is that going to take the whole weekend?;)” and she said “haha actually it’s a tournament so yes. I said “ah okay no worries, nice meeting you.” And she said “I’m sorry, you’re very attractive though.” I go “haha you’re just being sweet, thanks though” And she said it again “no, you are very attractive....I just...I’m sorta in s relationship right now.” I said “oh ok, no worries, have a great weekend.” And we parted ways.

I think if I played this better maybe I could have gotten a date w her, idk. Any thoughts? When she told me she was busy w the kids, I think I could have done better there in my response.
