There are some people that promote "Rejection therapy" by approaching women with a deliberate intention of being rejected. A few even make videos of their cruel pranks on women. They are a curse on the community. They fool people like you into thinking this is a valid way to learn pickup. You already know how to fail. You don't need more practice. Try to succeed.

Even if you "feel a relationship should have at least some background to start with," that means the women you have history with, were strangers at one time. How did you meet them? Are you waiting for someone to formally introduce you? Or are you waiting to meet cute?

You are creating a very broad set of circumstances that would disqualify a woman from a relationship with you. Why don't you focus on something positive?

Dating is how you develop the background for a relationship.

Just because you go on 4-5 dates with a girl doesn't mean you are in a relationship with her

since i feel a relationship should have at least some background to start with, dating just from randomly meeting someone shouldnt be the goal. i believe the goal of cold approaching is to numb the feelings of rejection.

You're missing out on a lot of good opportunities with this outlook in my opinion. I also believe that running game on a girl isn't very "genuine" but I believe the connection established from that interaction can be very real.

I know you had a different question but I had to put my two cents in.
