I'm in grad school at a university with close to 40K people. There are so many beautiful women, but I'm really not putting myself in enough scenarios to meet lots of them. I could probably scope out a spot and cold approach for days without seeing many of the them same people if I had the balls to. I refrain from doing so because I heard on here that cold approaching a little frowned upon at universities. Do people prefer cold-approaching (see as more direct) vs. circumstantial ways to meet women? Would I be better served if I cultivated a friend group to go out with, join clubs/ do activities that attractive women gravitate towards, and etc.? The other problem I'm having right now is getting over that initial fear of approaching. Any suggestions on how to nip that in the bud (maybe besides "just do it")?
