You should try to pick them up away from the dance floor but let's just say you have to. Long story short, you simply just approach them from the front and compliment on something they spent time or effort on like their hair, makeup, dress, dance moves. The conversation should lead on from there but after every few minutes, go to different locations in the club and make sure yall ISOLATE! Talk slower, light physical touches on her then just go for it bro 👍💪

I have been going to dance parties very often during the last 2-3 years. What I can tell you from my experience thus far is that dance parties are very good to get better social skills, but, even though they virtually offer many opportunities to get girls, it is actually pretty hard to do pick-up there. Girls go in order to dance and practice and stuff, and if they do end up liking somebody, that somebody is most likely the Cuban-looking tanned dance teacher and not the average guy who is now learning to dance. Even though girls are generally very open and social at these events, amost all of them are heavily biased against guys who learn to dance or go to dance parties because of the belief that they are players or that they do it in order to "sneaky" touch, and grope chicks. Just ask any girl what she thinks about meeting a man in a dance party (with sexual intent), and she can confirm it. Just keep that in mind.

What I found out that works best in dance parties is to NOT dance at all. Just talk to people. When you approach a group of girls, most will nod and follow you to the dance floor, because that's what happens 99.9% of times. Just tell them that you don't dance tonight and you just came over to talk / meet them. Then proceed as normal, greet everyone, make them comfortable, escalate, ask for a number. This serves 2 purposes: one is to immediately put yourself in the 0.1% of guys they meet at dance parties who do not want to dance with them, and secondly, to communicate that you are not there to creepily grope them and you just want to get to know them (approaching takes balls).
